Testing the limits

There’s a certain art to hanging a race car body. When I say art, I’m talking about the creative process itself.

One thing I like about Dirt Late Models is that they aren’t all cookie-cutter versions of the same thing. Yes, the nosepieces have become pretty standard, especially considering almost any headlight kit will work on any nosepiece, but at least there are three or four different companies out there to choose from.

About the weather

Rarely do I agree with racetracks when they cancel races early in the day. That’s the racer/fan in me. It’s always a bummer to get set for a race weekend and then have the rug pulled from beneath you early on a Saturday.

There are, however, definite advantages to early cancellations.

For starters, you save time. Of course you also save money by not having to buy wasted truck fuel or a pit pass. You avoid the hassle of having to wash your race car for no reason as well.
