What won the race: Continuing his domination at 191 Speedway, polesitter Derek Fisher of Olympia, Ky., won the track's richest-ever event with a $10,000 payday in the Deanna Noble Memorial on the Slingin' Dirt Late Model Series. Fisher, who scored his eighth special event victory at the track over the last 18 months, led virtually the entire way and beat fellow front-row starter Jason Jameson to the checkers by 0.387 of a second.
Key notes: Fisher, who lapped all but eight competitors, also picked up a $555 bonus as the fifth-lap leader courtesy of the Noble family. ... The $500 Big Blue Heating & Cooling bounty for any driver to outrun Fisher went unclaimed. ... Runner-up Jason Jameson captured the tour's weekend opener Friday at Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Ky. ...
