What won the race: Fighting off Spencer Hughes before halfway, polesitter Neil Baggett of Columbus, Miss., led 38 of 40 laps Saturday at Whynot Motorsports Park for a $3,000 Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series victory. Baggett took the checkers 0.948 of a second ahead his fellow front-row starter for his first series victory of the season and 14th of his career.
