What won the race: Diving under race-long leader Brandon Sheppard in turn one on the 14th lap, Devin Moran of Dresden, Ohio, led the rest of Tuesday's caution-free 30-lapper for a $7,000 Wieland Winternationals victory on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Moran took advantage of Sheppard's higher corner entry amid traffic and took the checkers 1.225 seconds ahead of the polesitter for his fourth career Ocala victory.
Quotable: "I know how this place is. When you get into lapped traffic, if you can maneuver, you're gonna be really good," Moran said. "My guys provided me a Longhorn Chassis that could move anywhere on the racetrack on either end, so it was really, really cool."
Key notes: Moran, the defending series champion who also won last year's Ocala opener, became Lucas Oil's first two-time winner of 2026. ... He won Friday at All-Tech Raceway in Ellisville, Fla., and now has 15 career Georgia-Florida Speedweeks victories. ... Moran has 24 career full-field Lucas Oil Series victories. ... Runner-up Brandon Sheppard led the first 13 laps. ... Third-place finisher Clay Harris, whose right-rear tire went flat just after the race, scored his third top-five of the year, doubling his career total on the series entering the season. ... Dan Ebert got into the wall with five laps remaining but gathered his car in just ahead of leader Devin Moran. ... Ocala continues Wednesday with another non-points event, the second of five Lucas Oil Series races this week. ... The feature took eight minutes with 16 cars on the lead lap (20 were running at the finish). ... Watch live on FloRacing.
On the move: Hudson O'Neal of Martinsville, Ind., started 11th and finished fifth.
