What won the race: Leading all 40 laps of Saturday night's Shamrock feature at Boyd's Speedway, second-starting Ricky Weiss of Headingley, Manitoba, earned his first career victory with the Ultimate Southeast Super Late Model Series. Weiss's last win was an American All-Star Series Crate event on Nov. 13, 2020, at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn. ... Freeman maintained pace with Weiss throughout the race, but settled for the runner-up money. ... Jimmy Owens completed the podium in third. ... The first-ever Ultimate Southeast event at Boyd's was completed green-to-checkered without incident and lasted only 11 minutes. ... Twelve competitors completed all 40 laps.
On the move: Jadon Frame of Winchester, Tenn., started 10th and finished eighth.
