What won the race: Making a bold low-side move into turn one on the opening lap, fourth-starting Cody Overton of Evans, Ga., cruised all 50 laps of Sunday's Jack Starrette Memorial at Modoc Speedway for a $17,522 victory on the Southern Thunder Super Dirt Series. The sizzling Overton, winning his fourth straight start and third feature of the weekend, took the checkers 2.972 seconds ahead of 14th-starting Ross Bailes.

Quotable: "It's just been awesome. I don't even know what to say," Overton said. "I was happy with just making (the feature) tonight. I didn't have any expectations. I did what I wanted to do this past weekend, so it's just a bonus, man. I just can't thank everybody enough that helps me."
