What won the race: Outdueling Billy Moyer in the early going before fighting off late pressure from Spencer Hughes, fourth-starting Cade Dillard of Robeline, La., led the final 30 laps Saturday to complete a sweep of the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series inaugural weekend at Pike County Speedway. Dillard led 31 of 40 laps (9, 11-40) and beat Hughes by 1.595 seconds for the $10,000 finale, adding to his $5,000 payday in Friday's opener.

Quotable: "I definitely had to work for that one, I knew Spencer (Hughes) was gonna be really good up there. I just didn’t feel really confident entering up there, I didn’t think I was the best on the cushion," Dillard said before latter adding, "I could hear Spencer get a run on me and I knew they we were really good. I said ‘Well we got a chance, we gotta get up and get after it these last several laps,' and I appreciate him running me clean."

Key notes: Dillard led 56 of 65 laps contested over the weekend en route to his 19th career Comp Cams Series victory, his 12th of the season and fourth straight. ... He notched his 14th overall feature win of the year in extending his points lead. ... Dillard used turn-three slide jobs to take the lead away from Billy Moyer on lap nine and again on lap 11 as Spencer Hughes followed Dillard by into the runner-up spot just before a caution fell. ... Dillard then led largely unchallenged until Hughes threw a daring turn-one slider on the 32nd lap, with Dillard executing a textbook crossover move to maintain control, before pulling away from Hughes over the final nine circuits. ... Second-starting Billy Moyer led nine of the opening 10 laps (1-8, 10) before settling for third. ... Kyle Beard prevailed to finish fourth after a back-and-forth battle with Morgan Bagley for much of the race; Bagley gave way to Chandler Petty in the late going and placed sixth. ...
