Defeating prejudice

Fonzie always had a difficult time admitting he was wrong on Happy Days, but I'll come straight out with it. I was wrong.

Summernationals coverage

Just a quick programming note to keep subscribers up to date with our coverage plans. With the World of Outlaws Late Model Series holding one of its richest events of the season at Lernerville (Pa.) Speedway's $30,000-to-win Firecracker 100, videographer Michael Rigsby will peel off the UMP DIRTcar Summernationals to head for Pennsylvania.

Emptying the notebook

A few hours before the fiasco that was the June 13 UMP DIRTcar Summernationals event at Kamp Motor Speedway, I dropped by Pete Parker's open trailer in the pits at the Boswell, Ind., track just to see what was up with the 1988 Summernationals champion.
