What won the race: Overtaking race-long leader Max McLaughlin on the 24th lap, sixth-starting Tim McCreadie of Watertown, N.Y., paced the final 17 circuits of Friday's third annual Arthur and Cynthia MacMillan Memorial at Outlaw Speedway. McCreadie beat Gregg Satterlee by 2.209 seconds for the $11,800 paycheck, his first Jay's Automotive United Late Model Series victory of the season and first in more than 13 years.
Key notes: McCreadie notched his third feature win of the season, adding to WoO Series victories on Jan. 24 at Florida's Volusia Speedway Park and May 14 at Selingsgrove (Pa.) Speedway. ... It was his second career ULMS victory, his first since May 31, 2013, at McKean County Raceway in East Smethport, Pa. ... The sixth-starting McCreadie passed race-long leader Max McLaughlin on lap 24 and never looked back, prevailing to win by more than two seconds over fifth-starting Gregg Satterlee, who took second from McLaughlin on a lap-36 restart. ... McLaughlin, who led the opening 23 laps from the pole, settled for third. ... Lucas Oil Series regular Max Blair pressured McLaughlin and nearly led lap 19 until retiring from third to draw the race's fourth and final caution on lap 36; Blair was credited with 18th, the first starter who failed to finish. ... Tyler Siri, Outlaw Speedway promoter, finished 17th in his Late Model debut. ... Second-starting Boom Briggs held the runner-up spot until slowing and triggering the second slowdown on lap four. ... Rickie Loucks retired under the race's third caution on lap 10. ... The event, presented by St. Lawrence Radiology, honored Arthur and Cynthia MacMillan, the parents of loyal Outlaw Speedway employee and Siri Motorsports crewman, Bugger MacMillan. ... Eleven starters completed 40 laps in the 20-minute feature. ... Kevin Smith (heat race incident) and Damian Bidwell (hot laps) both scratched from the main event.
