What won the race: Fourth-starting Ashton Winger of Hampton, Ga., overtook early leader Brandon Overton with a slider in turns three and four on the 24th lap and went on to capture Saturday's Deep Fried 75 at Duck River Raceway Park. Winger finished 0.659 seconds ahead of Mike Marlar for the $15,000 payday while strengthening his lead atop the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series point standings.
Quotable: "My car is just good, I say it all the time. Obviously, I know you still gotta do the right things in the car, but (it's easy) whenever your car is so good," Winger said. "We’re just thankful. I have way more than I deserve and I’m just a goofy redneck who likes to race cars and that’s all I know how to do."
