Zach Sise celebrates his second career five-figure payday.
What won the race: Second-starting Zach Sise of Knoxville, Tenn., fired off from the outside front row and controlled The Bridge 59 feature for a flag-to-flag victory Saturday at Natural Bridge Speedway. Sise held off a charging Tyler Bare by 1.689 seconds for a $10,000 payday on the Save A Lot American Crate All-Star Series and his second career five-figure payday.
Quotable: "It’s best to kinda lay back when you get to the lapped cars, if you get up on them, your car don’t react the same," Sise said. "So, I was kinda just trying to keep a pace there, but the car was awesome all night long."
Key notes: Sise secured his second victory in as many weeks after topping June 6's Best Plumber 604 Series stop at Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tenn., worth $5,000. ... It's his second career five-figure payday on the All-Star Crate Series, adding to a $10,000 One for the Road victory on Nov. 17, 2024, at Beckley (W.Va.) Motor Speedway. ... Sixth-starting Tyler Bare surged into second on a lap-31 restart, but never truly challenged Sise over the race's second half. ... Polesitter Shawn Walker settled for third. ... Teenager Wyatt Coffey slipped as low as seventh in the early going before rebounding to finish fourth. ... Corey Almond gained 10 spots to round out the top-five finishers. ... The race was slowed by eight cautions, the final one coming on lap 55 when Justin Williams retired. ...
