What won the race: With Kyle Beard's postrace disqualification, publicized Saturday afternoon by the series, Hall of Famer Billy Moyer of Batesville, Ark., inherited Friday's $5,000 Cow Patty 50 victory on the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series at Old No. Speedway. Beard had outdueled B.J. Robinson on a lap-nine restart after early leader Scott Crigler retired and led the final 21 laps.
Key notes: A series release didn't reveal the reason for Kyle Beard's disqualification in postrace technical inspection; Beard's father Gary said his son told him the series declared the apparent winner's right-rear shock illegal. ... Billy Moyer notched his 15th career series victory. ... Scott Crigler retired after leading the opening eight laps from the pole, briefly giving control to B.J. Robinson, who led lap nine before settling for fourth; Crigler was credited with 22nd. ...
