What won the race: Fighting off late challenges from hometown Hall of Famer Billy Moyer, polesitter Tony Jackson Jr. of Lebanon, Mo., led flag-to-flag for his first career victory at Batesville Motor Speedway in the Bad Boy 98 finale to pocket $12,000. Jackson took the checkers 1.314 seconds ahead of Moyer in the 68-lapper after leading comfortably most of the race.
Quotable: "I knew I needed to pace the race, but I also needed to save my tires," Jackson said. "I didn't know what the hell to do, to be honest with you."
