What won the race: One week after a disqualification for pursuing a fellow driver on foot, Cody Smith of Holt, Fla., scored a redeeming victory over fellow front-row starter Chris O'Connor of Cantonment, Fla., on the NeSmith-backed Panhandle Challenge Series.
Key notes: Smith notched three series victories on the former Southeastern Crate Series in 2014 when he was crowned champion. ...
