What won the race: Fending off a late charge from fifth-starting Don Shaw, pole-starting Brad Seng of Grand Forks, N.D., led all 25 laps of Friday’s Northern LateModel Racing Association event at I-94 EMR Speedway. The $1,250 win marked Seng’s 45th career NLRA victory.
Key notes: Seng scored his second NLRA victory in the month of June at the Minnesota oval after picking up a $2,090 payday in the King of Dirt on June 3rd. … Seventh-starting Shane Edginton of Winnipeg, Manitoba, retired on lap 10. … The four-race NLRA weekend moves to Devil's Lake Speedway on Saturday before wrapping up on Sunday at River Cities Speedway. … Tyler Peterson of Hickson, N.D., won Thursday's opener at Norman County Raceway.
