What won the race: Polesitter Michael Page of Douglasville, Ga., topped the Crate Racin' USA field to win Saturday's $6,000 Red Farmer Tribute finale at Talladega Short Track.
Key notes: Tyler Millwood finished in second with Dillon Brown rounding out the podium. ... After winning Friday's $3,700 Red Farmer Tribute opener, Joseph Joiner of Milton, Fla., advanced three positions and finished fourth. ... After parking his Super Late Model and focusing on several Crate Late Model events to end the year, Cory Hedgecock of Loudon, Tenn., finished fifth. ... Crate Racin' USA National points leader Jason Welshan of Maryville, Tenn., advanced eight positions and finished 15th. ... Saturday's feature was the finale of the Red Farmer Tribute, honoring the NASCAR Hall of Fame driver from Hueytown, Ala. … Farmer, a founding member of the famed Alabama Gang that included Bobby and Donnie Allison and the late Neil Bonnett, was slated to tag the field of Saturday's main event, but failed to start and credited with finishing 28th.
