Justin Zeitner enjoys victory lane at Huset's Speedway.
What won the race: Leading all 40 laps, Justin Zeitner of Malvern, Iowa, earned $5,000 Sunday at Huset's Speedway for his 13th career Repairable Vehicles.com Tri-State Series victory. The second-starting Zeitner took the checkers 1.065 seconds ahead of runner-up Don Shaw in the Ben Nothdurft Memorial, one of the tour's richest events.
Key notes: Polesitter Lance Schill finished third. ... Sixth-finishing Morgan Ward-Grosz matched his best series finish. ... Fourteen cars completed the entire feature distance. .... A frontstretch pileup early in the event involved several cars and drew a red flag. Ben Sukup and Shane Demey were forced to retire after the incident. ... Kyle Jensen and Jared Jelsma tangled in turn two on the second lap. ... The series returns to Huset's on July 19. ...
