What won the race: Winning by more than a four-second margin, Scott James of Lawrenceburg, Ind., cruised to the $5,000 victory in Saturday’s Bobby Wilson Memorial at Brownstown Speedway. James led all 30 laps in earning his first feature victory since 2020.
Key notes: James scored his first victory since Aug. 29, 2020, at Fairbury (Ill.) Speedway. ... His previous Brownstown victory came May 18, 2019, in Ethanol Tour competition. ... Semi-retired Hall of Famer Billy Moyer entered in Tim Lance's No. 48; he finished eighth in his first start of 2022.
