Tim Fuller picks up the checkers at Eriez Speedway.
What won the race: Seventh-starting Tim Fuller of Watertown, N.Y., charged to the lead on a lap-five restart, besting Mike Knight of Ripley N.Y., by a straightaway's distance at the checkers for a $4,000 victory in the opening night of Eriez Speedway's September Sweep.
Key notes: Fuller has four wins on the 2014 season, including a $10,000 World of Outlaws victory on July 18 at River Cities Speedway. ... Mike Knight and Greg Oakes battled for the runner-up spot, with Oakes slipping to finish fourth. ... The race was slowed by two cautions. ... David Doherty spun in turn three on the fifth lap for the first yellow. He spun again on lap 29 to draw a second caution. ... Max Blair, Mike Knight, Russ King, Darrell Bossard and Brent Rhebergen were among drivers pulling double-duty in other divisions. ... The season-ending weekend at Eriez starts with a $4,000-to-win Super Late Model race on Friday and concludes with a $6,000-to-win race on Saturday.
On the move: Chub Frank of Bear Lake, Pa., advanced from the ninth starting spot to finish third.
