What won the race: Third-starting Kyle Hardy of Stephens City, Va., took the lead on lap 22 Sunday and paced the final eight circuits, cruising to win the Manufacturers Night feature for the Pace Performance RUSH Racing Series Crate Late Models at Eriez Speedway, collecting $2,000.
Key notes: The victory is Hardy's second of the season with the RUSH tour at the Hammett, Pa. oval, after winning there earlier in the year on May 16. ... Eriez weekly Crate Late Model point leader, Jason Genco of Frewsburg, N.Y., took the runner-up spot on lap 29 and crossed the finish line 1.214 seconds behind Hardy. ... Polesitter Jeremy Wonderling of Wellsville, N.Y., led the first 21 laps before being passed by Hardy and maintained the second position before his race ended on lap 28, relegating him to finish 17th. ... After initially crossing the finish line in fifth, Chub Frank of Bear Lake, Pa., was disqualified and credited with finishing 26th. ... Sunday's main event, which featured more than $25,000 in product certificates presented by MSD Performance, was slowed by only one incident and lasted 13 minutes, with 15 competitors completing all 30 laps. … Eriez hosts the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series on Aug. 22.
On the move: After winning a Crate Late Model feature at Eriez on Aug. 8, Breyton Santee of Conneaut, Ohio, started 18th and finished fifth.
