What won the race: Polesitter Joseph Joiner of Milton, Fla., led all 40 laps at Tri-County Speedway on Saturday, cruising to his second career victory with the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series and collecting $3,000.
Key notes: Joiner also won March’s Southern All Star visit to Tri-County. ... Chad Thrash of Meridian, Miss., a two-time MSCCS winner at Tri-County, claimed Saturday’s runner-up position, 0.451 seconds behind Joiner. ...
