COLUMBUS, Miss. — Leading all 50 laps while lapping through fifth place, second-starting Jeremy Shaw of Millport, Ala., dominated Saturday's Crate Late Model feature at Magnolia Motor Speedway. After a caution with two laps remaining slowed the pace, Shaw finished 1.103 seconds ahead of third-starting Randall Beckwith of Kilmichael, Miss., to earn the $3,000 victory.
Monte Skinner of Saraland, Ala., improved five positions to finish third, while 15th-starting Richie Stephens of Phenix City, Ala., and fast qualifier and polesitter Evan Ellis of Plantersville, Miss., completed the top five in the race that was on the undercard of the annual Magnolia State Cotton Pickin’ 100 weekend.
