Brandon White earned his first Blue Ridge Outlaws victory.
What won the race: Brandon White of Stanley, N.C., took advantage of his pole starting position and dominated the fourth annual Fall Brawl at East Lincoln Motor Speedway on Friday, earning $1,200 for his first career victory with the Blue Ridge Outlaw Late Models.
Quotable: "It felt a little more free to me, than what I usually like, but I guess that was a little faster, so maybe I just need to start driving it like that," White said. "As a matter of fact, we're going to camp tonight and drive five minutes to the house".
Key notes: White earned a total of $1,450 on Friday, which includes the $100 pole award from Jeff Putnam Enterprises, along with the $150 new winner bonus from David Linville at 3 Nails Contracting. ... White credits East Lincoln with being his hometown track, estimating that he lives approximately five minutes away. ... Friday's feature marked the third time East Lincoln has hosted the Blue Ridge Outlaws this season and marked the opening night of weekend doubleheader for the series. ... The tour continues on Saturday, with a visit to Lancaster Speedway (S.C.) for a $1,700-to-win feature.
On the move: Originally from Portsmouth, Ohio, but now hailing from Mooresville, N.C., Robbie Bailey started 11th and finished seventh.
Winner's sponsors: White's Rocket Chassis is sponsored by Horne's Towing, Ms. D’s Auto Service and ML Performance.
Current weather: Overcast, 55°F
