Tad Pospisil heads to a victory at I-80 Speedway.
What won the race: Third-starting Tad Pospisil of Norfolk, Neb., extended his Malvern Bank Series points lead Saturday at I-80 Speedway with the Casey’s Midwest Fall Brawl victory over Andrew Kosiski. Pocketing $3,000, Pospisil recorded his 22nd career Malvern Bank Series win.
Key notes: Pospisil owns five series victories, including three of the last five events. ... He's also won a pair of series races at I-80, the tour's de facto home track that hosted its fourth series event. ... Next weekend, I-80 hosts the recently added I-80 Nationals with three nights of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series action. ... The Malvern Bank has also been added with a $1,200-to-win event the final night, Sept. 19.
On the move: Tyler Bruening of Decorah, Iowa, started 14th and finished third; Bill Leighton Jr. of La Vista, Neb., started 17th and finished fifth.
