Ches Chester takes the checkers at Screven Motor Speedway.
What won the race: Ches Chester of Twin City, Ga., grabbed his first Fastrak victory of the season by leading all 40 laps of night one of the Georgia State Outlaw Championship at Screven Motor Speedway. The victory was worth $2,000 for Chester, who crossed the finish line 0.699 seconds ahead of runner-up Nick Schlager.
Key notes: Chester notched his biggest victory since March 9 when he earned $5,000 at Modoc (S.C.) Raceway. ... Thirteen drivers completed 40 laps. ... Polesitter Matthew Nance was black-flagged on lap 11 after making what officials deemed as intentional contact with Chuck Bowie. ... Screven hosts the Fastrak Racing Series on back-to-back nights as the tour concludes its season.
