What won the race: Michael Rouse of Wilson, N.C., led all 40 laps Saturday at County Line Raceway to become the first repeat winner on the I-95 Late Model Challenge Series. Rouse earned $3,000 in taking the checkers 2.284 seconds ahead of Robbie Emory.
Key notes: Rouse's previous series victory came June 15 at Halifax County Motor Speedway in Brinkleyville, N.C. ... Fourteen drivers completed 40 laps at County Line. ... The I-95 Late Model Challenge made the second of three visits to County Line Raceway this season and 16th overall. … The series returns to County Line on Oct. 18-19 for a $5,000-to-win program.
