David McDonald picked up $2,000 for his victory at Estevan.
What won the race: David McDonald of Huron, S.D., won from the pole Monday at Estevan Motor Speedway, earning $2,000 for the first-ever Blaine Brothers Challenge Series event north of the border. McDonald took the checkers ahead of fellow front-row starter John Kaanta of Elk Mound, Wis.
Key notes: McDonald's only other series victory came July 27, 2012, at Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, S.D. ... Sixth-place finisher Aaron Turnbull swept Late Model and modified features July 19 at Estevan. ... McComb Automotive sponsored the night's racing. ... The tour's Western swing continues back in the United States with a pair of races in Montana.
