What won the race: Michael Brown of Pageland, S.C., won his third straight Fastrak main event at Friendship Motor Speedway, outrunning Carson Ferguson for a $2,500 victory in the first of twin features to close out the tour's Triple Crown weekend.
Key notes: Brown won after dominating Friday’s action at Friendship. … Sunday’s action was been split into two separate 25-lap, point-paying features, paying $2,500 to win each. … The weekend finale drew only 10 entries after drawing 20 on Friday. … The Triple Crown championship will be awarded to the driver accumulating the most points during the four contests. … The 15th annual Fastrak Triple Crown wrapped up Sunday as Friendship Motor Speedway hosted the Crate Late Model tour for the second time in three days. … Saturday’s twin features at Beckley (W.Va.) Motorsports Park were cancelled with no makeup date. … Promoters on Monday announced they were stepping away from promotions at Friendship, saying the track hasn't had the cars and fans to break even financially.
