Shaun Harrell grabbed a FUEL victory at Cherokee Speedway.
What won the race: Shaun Harrell of Raeford, N.C., dominated the night at Cherokee Speedway, setting quick time in qualifying, winning his heat and cruising to victory in the 35-lap feature. Harrell topped Steve Banal for a win worth $2,500.
Key notes: Harrell finished .602 of a second ahead of runner-up Steve Banal of Rock Hill, S.C., in capturing his third career FUEL victory. … He moved into a tie for fourth on the sixth-year tour’s all-time win list. … Harrell’s last series victory was May 5, 2018 at Friendship Motor Speedway in Elkin, N.C. … He picked up a victory in weekly action at Fayetteville (N.C.)
