What won the race: Third-starting Bobby Pierce of Oakwood, Ill., outdueled hometown driver Rickey Frankel early in the 30-lap main event and pulled away down the stretch for his second Midwest Big 10 Series victory of 2014 at Quincy.
Key notes: Kenny Van Dorn spun to draw a caution on lap 11, just after Pierce solidified his lead over Frankel. ... Hometown driver and track points leader Mark Burgtorf slowed and went pitside while running second on the 21st lap. ... Justin Jennings spun on lap 24. ...
