What won the race: Fortunate to make it to the track after toterhome problems in heading to the track, polesitter Hunter Rasdon of Jonesboro, Ark., led all 35 laps Saturday at steamy Boothill Speedway for a $2,500 Comp Cams Super Dirt Series victory. Rasdon took the checkers 1.040 seconds ahead of home-state driver Robbie Stuart for his second series victory of 2018.
Key notes: Rasdon has nine career Comp Cams victories, including earlier this season at Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas. ... Several drivers had flat tires and Rasdon's right-rear tire went flat in victory lane. ... Rasdon survived a late restart after Zach McMillan clipped a tire barrier near the end of the race. ...
