Nick Beyenhof gets rolling before his home-track victory.
What won the race: Hometown driver Nick Beyenhof raced to victory from outside the front row at Rapid Speedway for his third career Tri-State Late Model Series victory. He earned $1,000 in outrunning rookie Blair Nothdurft and his brother Nate Beyenhof.

Brad Vogt scratched from the first heat and was the feature's first retiree. ... The event was pushed back one week by weather. ... The series made the first of three stops at Rock Rapids with return dates schedules for July 17 and Sept. 15.
