Key notes: Gainey notched his first series victory. ... David Whitener crossed the line second but was dropped to last in the rundown because he weighed in 15 pounds light after the race. ... Whitener was also placed on probation for rough driving. ... Mikey Kopka and Chuck Jackson were placed on probation by the series for climbing from their cars during a caution period. ... The second-year series has announced a $10,000 points fund with $5,000 going to the champion. ...
