In heat action, Gavin Landers wasn't injured but his car suffered significant damage when his car's throttle hung and he went over turn three while running second in an incident he called on Facebook "the worst wreck I ever had." The car came to rest atop concrete and into the catch fence on the chute to the pits. ... Former tour champ Kyle Beard had problems with his primary car and went to a backup after hot laps; he finished fourth in the main event.
