Russ King heads to a $4,011 victory in the Eriez weekend opener.
What won the race: Outside front-row starter Russ King of Bristolville, Ohio, worked past polesitter Max Blair on lap 34 for a ULMS victory in the 40-lap Bob Rohrer September Sweep opener at Eriez Speedway. King pocketed $4,011 for capturing the Dick Litz Memorial.
Key notes: King was victorious in ULMS action for the second time in a week. He also won the tour's Sept. 15 at Thunder Mountain Speedway in Knox Dale, Pa. ... Mike Pegher Jr. briefly held the second spot early but slipped back to finish seventh. ... Eriez hosts the ULMS tour for back-to-back nights of the Bob Rohrer September Sweep weekend, honoring the track's late owner. … Alex Ferree lowered the track record. ...
