What won the race: Grabbing the lead on the 26th lap, Jason Covert of York Haven, Pa., topped Tim Fuller of Watertown, N.Y., and Keith Barbara of South Park, Pa., for his first career NDRL Northeast victory and a $3,000 payday. Barbara led the first 25 circuits of the 35-lap feature.
Key notes: Covert became the fifth different winner through five series events; he collected his third overall victory on the season. ...
