Tim Dohm gives a thumbs up in victory lane at Ponderosa.
What won the race: Charging to the front of the field at the drop of the green flag, outside polesitter Tim Dohm of Cross Lanes, W.Va., outran seventh-starting Eric Wells of Hazard, Ky., to capture a $3,000 victory in Ponderosa Speedway’s Hugh “Junebug” Rowland Memorial.
Key notes: The race marked Dohm's first-ever trip to Ponderosa. ... Dohm has captured multiple special event victories on the 2016 season, including a $10,000 World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series triumph at Tyler County Speedway back in May. ...
