Tyler Crowder notches his second Chevy victory in three races.
What won the race: Polesitter Tyler Crowder of Tallahassee, Fla., led all 50 laps at 411 Motor Speedway to earn a Chevrolet Performance Super Late Model Series victory over hard-charging Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, Tenn. Crowder collected $3,000.
Key notes: Crowder earned his second career Chevy Series victory; his first came two weeks ago at Cochran (Ga.) Motor Speedway. ... The winner finished third in Friday's action at I-75 Raceway in Sweetwater, Tenn. ... Fourth-starting Cory Hedgecock, who entered with five victories at 411 this season, didn't make a lap in the feature after going to the pits under pace laps. ... The race was slowed by six cautions, including a lap-28 incident that eliminated outside front-row starter Matt Henderson. ... Seven of the 25 starters finished on the lead lap.
On the move: Runner-up Ronnie Johnson of Chattanooga, Tenn., stormed forward from the 10th starting position.
