What won the race: Bill Leighton Jr. of Omaha, Neb., won Saturday's Super Late Model Racing Series stop at Park Jefferson International Speedway, knotting the tour points lead with runner-up Kyle Berck of Marquette, Neb. Leighton earned $2,000 for his fourth series victory of the season, tying Berck atop the 2016 victory charts.
Key notes: Park Jefferson hosted the first of four August races on the Nebraska-based tour. ... The purse was boosted thanks for Zeitner and Sons Trucking. ... Mid Country Machine was also a sponsor of the night's action.
On the move: Leon Zeitner of La Vista, Neb., started 12th and finished fifth.
