His first victory of the season came by 0.924 of a second over hometown driver Brad Seng.

Friday's feature was only slowed by a single yellow. ... Nine of the 19 starters finished on the lead lap. ... The tour returns to River Cities Speedway on June 25. ... Because of a WISSOTA suspension, River Cities veteran Joey Pederson wasn't in action. He can't compete in WISSOTA events until June 27 after his engine was found to be without an RPM-limiting chip in May 27's regular-season event at River Cities. ... Donny Schatz won the night's World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series feature.
On the move: Zach Naastad of Northwood, N.D., charged from 11th to finish fifth.
Winner's sponsors: Balcaen's No. 10 is sponsored by Sylmak and Enns Brothers.
