Tyler Crowder gets rolling before his Southern Thunder victory.
What won the race: Polesitter Tyler Crowder of Lamont, Fla., led the entire 40-lap distance, outdueling fourth-starting Joseph Brown of Columbus, Ga., score a $2,000 Southern Thunder Late Model Series victory at East Alabama Motor Speedway.
Key notes: A yellow flag flew on the opening lap when Lavon Sparks spun, bringing the race to a complete restart. ... Tim Dixon slowed to draw a caution on lap three; he retired to the pits. ... A yellow flag waved for Dalton Cook on lap five; multiple cars pitted with flat tires under caution. ... Brand Lewis spun to draw a caution on lap nine. ...
