Timothy Culp won May 29's MSCCS feature in Greenville, Miss.
What won the race: Winning at Greenville Speedway on the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series for the third straight season, 10th-starting Timothy Culp of West Monroe, La., topped polesitter Brian Rickman for a $2,500 victory on Sunday evening. Rickman was 0.720 seconds behind at the checkers.
Key notes: Culp has won the last two Gumbo Nationals, the season-ending MSCCS event at Greenville. ... Culp, the Arkansas-based driver who will soon tackle the UMP DIRTcar Summernationals, notched his second victory overall of 2016; he previously won Feb. 20 at Northeast Arkansas Speedway. ... The Mississippi tour visited Greenville for the 25th time. ... The tour returns to Greenville on Aug. 13, Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.
On the move: Culp started 10th; Kody Barber started 20th and finished ninth.
