Mike Marlar won the WIMZ Rockin' with the Stars 40 in Maryville, Tenn.
What won the race: Polesitter Mike Marlar of Winfield, Tenn., took the lead from the start and never looked back, leading the entire 40-lap feature event to outrun third-starting Skip Arp of Georgetown, Tenn., for the $5,000 payday at Smoky Mountain Speedway.
Key notes: Marlar collected his third career Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series victory; his previous came Oct. 26, 2013, at Smoky Mountain. ... Runner-up Skip Arp piloted a No. 128 machine. ... The feature was slowed by three cautions. ... Jeff Wolfenbarger spun on lap six. ... While yellows fell on lap 12 and again on lap 12 for Jim Rogers. ... Casey Roberts retired running fifth.
