Kent Robinson takes the checkers for his Brownstown victory.
What won the race: Polesitter Kent Robinson of Bloomington, Ind., regained the lead from Greg Johnson of Bedford, Ind., on lap 29 of the 30-lap feature event. Robinson took the checkers ahead of Devin Gilpin of Columbus, Ind., and Johnson for the $3,000 victory at Brownstown Speedway, his first Late Model victory since August 2014.
Quotable: "It turned out great. This is the best I've seen Brownstown in a long time," Robinson said. "I've been running here a lot, but never had a lot of success, so it's nice to finally get a win here."
Key notes: Robinson's previous Late Model feature victory came Aug. 31, 2014, in Sunoco American Late Model Series action at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. ...
