What won the race: Kyle Bronson of Brandon, Fla., continued his late-season hot streak with a $5,000 victory in All-Tech Raceway's Jerry Smith Memorial for unsanctioned Crate Late Models. The polesitting Bronson led the final 20 laps, taking the checkers ahead of early leader Dennis Franklin of Gaffney, S.C.
Key notes: Bronson has 22 Late Model victories on the season. ... He won for the ninth consecutive weekend. ... Dennis Franklin led the first 17 laps before Bronson took over on lap 18. ... Mark Whitener led laps 19-30, but retired after 31 laps with Bronson leading the rest of the way. ... Bronson and several other All-Tech competitors competed Friday in NeSmith Series prelims at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, Fla., but Saturday's action was rained out.
