What won the race: Series points leader Kyle Bronson of Brandon, Fla., captured Saturday's rain-shortened feature at Volusia Speedway Park for his third straight United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series victory and series-leading seventh of the season. Bronson earned $3,000 for the 50-lapper called after 33 circuits.
Key notes: Bronson has 10 career UDLMCS victories, tied for third on the all-time series list. ... Volusia hosted the tour's third-to-last event of 2016. ... The race was originally scheduled for Waycross (Ga.) Motor Speedway, which closed early this season. ... Fans bringing perishable food items will receive $1 ticket discounts ($2 if they bring 10 items or more). The donations will be made to a local food bank. ... Volusia has cancelled plans for Nov. 14's Chew Crete 50, a $4,000-to-win event.
