Chad Simpson's daughter welcomes him to victory lane in West Union.
What won the race: Denying Billy Moyer his 800th career victory, second-starting Chad Simpson of Mount Vernon, Iowa, regained the lead from polesitting Hall of Famer Billy Moyer in the Crop Production Services 40, going on to notch his third Corn Belt Clash Late Model Series victory of 2015 and his fifth straight in series action at Fayette County. Simpson led the final six laps.
Key notes: Chad Simpson collected his 30th Corn Belt Clash victory overall, the most of any driver; next in line is his brother Chris with nine. ... The feature was slowed by three cautions, two for Mike Fryer and one for Jason Rauen. ... Fayette County hosted the series for the 10th time.
On the move: Mitch McGrath of Waukesha, Wis., charged forward from 19th to finish fourth.
Winner's sponsors: The winning Diercks LTD entry is a Victory Circle Race Car with sponsorship from JVC, Klotz Lubricants, Mountain Dew, Roemer Machine, Simpson Farms and Wehrs Machine & Racing Products.
