What won the race: Series points leader Max Blair of Centerville, Pa., paced all 25 laps from the pole position for a $1,200 victory in the inaugural RUSH Dirt Late Model Series event at Eriez Speedway. Following his RUSH victory, Blair also won the Super Late Model feature.
Quotable: I'm really looking forward to racing in it the rest of the season. It's going to be a lot of fun," Blair said. "We're trying our best to take another car with us for (his father Rob) to run at Winchester (June 12-13) and I think we're going to have it ready. I have to thank my dad No. 1; without him I wouldn't be here. He's the backbone of this deal."
Key notes: Through six RUSH touring events in 2015, Blair has three victories and has yet to finish worse than third. ... The race's first of two cautions flew on lap 15. ... Jason Genco spun in turn four on lap 17. ... Ninth-place finisher Bryce Davis won Friday's RUSH stop at Freedom Motorsports Park near Buffalo, N.Y. ... RUSH is sanctioning weekly action at Eriez for the first time in 2015. ... Sunday's program was the first of two RUSH touring stops at the track this season; RUSH competitors will return on July 26.
On the move: Damian Bidwell of Eldred, Pa., rallied from 12th to finish third.
Winner's sponsors: Blair's Rocket Chassis is sponsored by R&J Poultry, Moody & Sons Welding, D.I. Anderson and Genesis Shocks.
Points chase: Blair leads on both RUSH's Northern and Southern tours to sit atop the overall standings.
