Moran won a Dream prelim event in 2024, worth $25,000. … Hudson O’Neal trails Sheppard by 40 points entering Friday’s prelim. O’Neal enters with six career World prelims at Eldora and 2023’s World 100, worth $56,000. … Sheppard topped 2019’s Dream and 2023’s Lucas Oil-sanctioned Dirt Track World Championship, combining for more than $225,000. … Bobby Pierce won last year’s Dirt Track World Championship, the last Lucas Oil Series-sanctioned event at the famed Rossburg, Ohio, half mile.
