What won the race: Slipping by polesitter Billy Moyer Jr. on the opening set of turns, third-starting Eli Ross of Muskogee, Okla., repelled race-long pressure from Cade Dillard for a commanding flag-to-flag victory in Friday's 20-lap Hayden Ross Memorial prelim at his home track of Thunderbird Speedway. Ross beat Dillard by 1.168 seconds for the $6,916 victory, including $1,850 in lap leader bonus money, in the race tri-sanctioned among the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series, Nutrien Ag Solutions Revival Super Dirt Series and Ross Foundation Sooner Late Model Series.
